Cowgirlie Publishing was founded in 2004, by Austin-based author Michele J. Hale.
The first title, Undone, was released in 2005 and received rave reviews from critics.
Originally launched as a forum for Hale's own works, Cowgirlie expanded in 2007 and
launched Derby Gal Magazine, a mag dedicated to the sport of roller derby. Cowgirlie
is not a genre-based publishing house...we are dedicated to amplifying the voices of
independent writers and hope to feature a very diverse selection in the future.
